At long last, my book "An introduction to Japanese - Syntax, Grammar & Language" is properly published and available for purchasing. I will be selling autographed copies via http://www.sjgrpublishing.com and regular copies are available through amazon US, Canada, UK and Germany (since there's no amazon.eu) although that said, the German site seems to sell it at a price 100% higher than they should.
The book costs $30 (both US and Canadian), £20 (in UKish regions) and €20 for the European market. Amazon.de charges €39. I have no idea why.
Anyway, hurray for publication, now to move focus to sales!

An update for those wondering where stuff is: I just sort-of-finished moving over a four day period. The four day period I have off from work. In between moving and unboxing everything, I did a little bit of programming (I wrote a properly unicode aware charactger array and matching unicode string for java, because java hasn't supported unicode since 2006).
The low down: I'm going to watch the US elections tonight. Which means I'm taking tomorrow off on account of "I've not slept yet", and then I'll be at work thursday and friday - expect anything not before the coming weekend.
I'm out! (literally. moving stuff is tiring)

Most people will know me from nihongoresources, but a small number of people know me as Michiel Kamermans, a guy who for the longest time was a student of Artificial Intelligence at the University of Amsterdam, and only recently bothered to actually graduate and 'move on' as it were. Personally I would have prefered to take up a new bachlor/masters in biology, but money doesn't quite permit me to. No old money in my family...
For those interested in such manners, I have prepared a CV which can be accessed by hitting the CV subsection.
