With the weather being pleasant, I decided to take a stroll through my parents' garden and take a few pictures. The result is actually fairly enjoyable so I figured I'd set up a set for it, starting at this photograph.

I went over to Canada for christmas, staying for a month, when it decided to snow unseasonably much. The result was a few nice pictures that I've put up in a set on Flickr, followed by the photos I thought were worth keeping of my grandmother's birthday celebration at a cooking workshop/school type venue right after I got back, here

And so finally I've worked my way through my backlog of photographs. The last set covers, in a whopping nine photographs, our entire 10 days in London.
Less than one photograph a day on average worth putting online, and of those, at least one grudgingly... I guess the saddest part of that is that I'm likely never to, at least on a whim, drop by London again as the friend I would usually visit has now moved to a small island off the coast of France.
Another chapter closed.

Finally almost caught up with all my old photographs - I wrapped up my Berlin set by processing what was left: the Berlin Zoo (no, we didn't see Knut) and a shot of the inside of the DZ Bank (which is bizarre).

And just because I needed to get it out of the way...

Some more photographs. These cover the Berlin Musical Instrument Museum, and the Berggruen-Picasso Museum (neither of these have their own understandable website, so linking is a bit hard) as well as some loose ends.
Either click the website's header, or click here to go to the photostream.

Another 300 photographs sorted through, another only 28 worth actually showing =)
A new batch of photographs covering the Pergamon museum, the Bode museum, the Gemäldegalerie and a few loose images.
Either click the site's header image (which represents the latest photograph posted to my Flickr photostream), or click here to go to the photostream directly.

I'd love to say the Altes Museum is well worth visiting, and then back it up with hundreds of photographs, but I only have two to show you. A goat, and a long, long dead guy. The rest just weren't good enough to bother sticking on Flickr (yes, I actually do selective posting. You don't get to see all the bad pictures I make. Obviously)

One of the musea we went to on our Berlin trip was the Alte Nationalgalerie, or 'old' national gallery. The only reason it's called that is because they built a newer one for even more art, but until that gets reopened (aye, newer and under construction already!) here are the pictures we took at the old one.

Finally reached "July" in my "still to process" pile of (digital) photographs, which means I have now processed and uploaded the photographs from my Berlin trip, covering the Berlin Botanical Gardens. Of course, Artis de Partis went with.

Last May a sparrow hawk decided to hawk away in our garden block, in the middle of the city (Rotterdam). We managed to get pretty close to it, so my mom and I decided to take a few pictures of it. Lots of duplicates, but after some selection-making I ended up putting five of them online, starting at this picture. The fifth picture has moderate safety set, because it shows the sparrow hawk eating the sparrow (gasp! nature! too horrible!)
